There’s something special about watching an artist’s dreams take flight, and right now, all eyes are on Kane Keid.
The soul-infused rap artist, known for seamlessly blending trap and R&B elements into his music, has just dropped his latest project, Not Famous, and it’s already causing serious buzz. In an emotional social media post, Kane Keid shared his gratitude, revealing that the EP is currently charting at #13 on Apple Music, an incredible feat for someone who once prayed for just 50 plays on Audiomack.
“What overwhelming feedback. I’m beyond grateful for each and everyone who gave this kid a chance,” he wrote. “We’re literally charting at 13 currently on Apple Music, and you’re telling that to someone who prayed for 50 plays on Audiomack. Okay, let me stop. Thank you!”
It’s a full-circle moment for Kane, whose musical journey started in 2016 when he first rapped for his 7th-grade class. Even back then, it was clear he had a natural gift for entertaining, a passion that has only grown stronger over the years.

Not Famous isn’t just a collection of songs, It’s a sound of an artist breaking through the noise, telling his story with honesty, soul, and undeniable talent. Kane made sure to shout out the team behind the project too, from producers and featured artists to videographers and photographers, proving once again that he’s an artist who understands the value of community.
Kane Keid’s rise feels like the beginning of something bigger, the kind of artist you root for because you can feel the hunger, the heart, and the history in every line he spits.
